21/08/2026: One star because I can't give less. Dirty (tables, floor, toilets, clogged sink, overflowing bins...). Staff?!?!? Strange. Never seen anything like it. Left empty-handed.

19/08/2026: Served very quickly, no problems

20/08/2026: We weren't allowed to buy a glass, and they gave the bill out of the blue. The waiter was quite pushy at the table. Aside from that, the food is good and the drinks are tasty, such as the Irish coffee and pastis.

18/08/2026: A lovely restaurant with excellent food and fresh ingredients. Even the kids loved the nuggets. The staff is friendly and efficient. We'll be back! Remember to book ahead!

15/06/2026: Beautiful setting but disappointing contents. The room is not worth the price! Very small space due to the very steep sloping ceiling. The bathroom was slippery and tilted, so we almost fell. No water available in the room (no glass carafe, bottle, or water bottle), no desk... however, the room was very clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was perfect. The surroundings were quite pleasant. It was impossible to eat on-site as the restaurant was booked for a private event... extremely disappointed. The value for money is absolutely terrible!!! The room isn't worth more than €100/night, if that!

18/08/2026: Excellent welcome, efficient service. We were pleasantly surprised by the food; we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the mussels. Well done! 👍🏻

14/08/2026: We had a very good meal. The seafood was excellent, although the mussels were sorely lacking in sauce. However, one waitress was overly familiar, another waiter served us with a bloody finger, and the dessert (waffle) was quite poor.

02/09/2026: After booking online for six people, we arrived at 8:00 PM sharp to find no reservation on site and the staff's welcome was poor. They explained that the system never worked. Yet, we had a recommendation from the owner, Christophe, whom we had met that afternoon and who was even supposed to offer us three aperitifs. He had just left... I do not recommend it. On the other hand, we received an excellent welcome at La Ferté, which, without a reservation, was fantastic and completely unaware of our mishap. The owner and staff were particularly friendly. Excellent value for money.

19/07/2026: We came for smoothie on a summer day . The lady was very kind and she made them in no time and it was delicious.

23/05/2026: Customer service needs improvement... Just got a takeaway sandwich for a 6-year-old... Ordered at the counter, the little one accidentally put his hand on the glass, the woman grabbed his hand and removed it without saying a word... Okay, fine... Barely out of the door, the sandwich wrapper tore because it was hot. The child sat down for two minutes to eat at their table, then the woman came out and asked the child to leave because he hadn't paid to sit down... Perhaps if the wrapper had held up, he wouldn't have had to do that... 6 years old... No comment... And good luck!

17/04/2026: We were delighted with our stay at this hotel! The family room was spacious and very comfortable, dinner was excellent, and the staff were truly lovely. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The double room facing the street was quite small, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good quality, but the selection was limited, and it was rather simple and small. We arrived around 8:45 a.m., which perhaps explains the lack of variety, but again, we were hoping for a little more. Despite these minor points, we have very fond memories of our stay.

11/04/2026: Definitely not recommended for us, especially not outside of season. Everything (95%) is closed. The room was just okay for the price. Breakfast was a bit meager. The restaurant was closed (at least for us). A shame for Saint Valery, but we'll never go back. We'd already experienced a disaster with the neighbors (booking paid in full, but no room reserved, nothing available, so we had to return home). It's a charming village otherwise, but only in season.
