We ordered fish and chips to go; the fish was very good, and so was the sauce. The owner wasn't rude, but he wasn't particularly friendly either. Is it worth €18? If you're in a hurry or waiting for the tourist train, maybe. If you have time to look for other places, probably not.

The place is nice opposite to the port .we ordered fish and chips and cheese sandwich. My partner liked the fish and chips and the sandwich was nice as there was butter as well, quite unique. The server know only french and cash is preferred. He made an exception for us.

17/04/2026: We were delighted with our stay at this hotel! The family room was spacious and very comfortable, dinner was excellent, and the staff were truly lovely. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The double room facing the street was quite small, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was good quality, but the selection was limited, and it was rather simple and small. We arrived around 8:45 a.m., which perhaps explains the lack of variety, but again, we were hoping for a little more. Despite these minor points, we have very fond memories of our stay.
24/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Restaurant 43, ideally located just steps from the ramparts. The place is beautifully decorated, with a truly charming atmosphere that invites relaxation. The menu is simple yet effective: everything is well-executed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff is incredibly attentive, discreet, and caring, making the experience even more pleasant. A truly excellent restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will gladly return!
