Excellent meal, a pleasant surprise: delicious food, very generous portions – unfortunately, we didn't finish our plates. And the service was particularly attentive, with a kind and cheerful young woman. Thank you.

A fantastic restaurant with beautiful decor and truly flavorful and generous portions; I've been four times and have never been disappointed, quite the opposite, always pleasantly surprised.

The gravlax sushi dog is excellent. It's a beautiful interpretation of a sandwich with rice wrapped in a sheet of golden nori with a thin panko-style crumb. The slightly acidic sauce enhances the trout. A delight...

The food is generally good, but the service is sometimes lacking, despite the staff's friendliness. Today, the owner seated us and presented the daily special, highly recommending it. We immediately ordered it… only to find it was no longer available. We then waited over an hour for our food, watching all the neighboring tables being served (some having arrived nearly 40 minutes after us). Feeling a bit embarrassed, we mentioned this to the staff, who informed us of a problem in the kitchen with our order. We then waited for almost another 20 minutes, during which the owner left without a word of apology for the inconvenience. When the bill arrived, we paid for our two main courses and two drinks without any discount.

Gaïa is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in the Dax area. The quality is consistently excellent. I regularly take friends there who come from other regions. Most of them tell me they want to go back before heading home.

Regulars at Gaïa in Dax, we invited a friend who was only familiar with traditional regional cuisine. He was won over by the modern cuisine, the generous, surprising, and delicious dishes. The welcome, the service, the cleanliness of the place... he was won over, and so were we, as usual. We highly recommend this Dax restaurant.

After several visits to this restaurant and always good experiences, my last visit was disappointing! The food is still excellent and the service pleasant! However, I accompanied my partner for lunch during the week. Not having a big appetite that day, I decided to order only a starter. This request was refused: "It's not possible to order just a starter without ordering a main course afterward..." I should mention that my partner ordered a full meal and we also had drinks... Stunned by this "rule," I was then forced to order a main course as well. Which is a real shame because, as a result, I didn't get to eat the dessert I had spotted on the menu!

This restaurant is flawless, from the welcome to the payment. An essential place for all the people of Dax, thank you for preserving the art of quality, homemade cuisine.
