A very pleasant experience, a warm and polite welcome despite the large group. Simple but delicious food, and absolutely divine desserts! The crumble was heavenly… kudos to the pastry chef.

Thomas was awesome, made us feel very welcome and also our dogs. Great food, nice spot. I think however the furniture on the deck area could do with some updating, it put us off sitting out there, so we sat out the front.

Le Restaurant O'Gabier

17/03/2026: Passing through Rochefort for the weekend, we chose this restaurant. We had made a reservation, which was a good thing we did because it was a Saturday night and it was starting to fill up. Apart from a minor hiccup with my order being taken, everything went smoothly. The service was quick, the portions generous, and the staff friendly.
14/03/2026: We arrived by chance in the evening, having never heard of the place, and were warmly welcomed and served quickly. The duck burger was amazing. The salad was also delicious. A real pleasure, with perfect hosts.
