Good brasserie, set menu (starter, main course, dessert) very good. I had the warm goat cheese, the hanger steak was very good and perfectly cooked. I had the cheese for dessert. The welcome was warm, I had a pleasant time. Thank you to the team.

Excellent welcome. The restaurant is very well located with a view of the marina. The oyster aperitif was delicious (an original and much appreciated idea). The skate wing with raspberry vinaigrette was superb. The Périgord salad was lovely. The service was perfect. We had a wonderful time.

Restaurant located on the edge of Rochefort harbor, with a terrace overlooking the boats. The waitstaff were efficient, discreet, and attentive (they even wished us a happy birthday with a candle when bringing our desserts, without us asking, just by overhearing a snippet of conversation – thank you for this thoughtful touch!). We were satisfied with the main courses (the ÔGabier salads and the warm goat cheese salad were beautifully presented and well-proportioned). We were disappointed with the Pavlova (the proportions of cream and meringue were uneven, and it came with half a pear on the side, presented in a bowl). My suggestion would be not to call a dessert if the presentation doesn't match the actual dessert; for Pavlova lovers, it's truly disappointing and would be better to find another name for it. However, the goodwill of the entire team makes us want to return. Best of luck!

We had previously dined here for a team meal two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
This second visit was less pleasant.
We ordered the "Corsair" menu with the butcher's cut and maître d'hôtel butter, but the meat wasn't to our liking. The waiter who served us during our meal (who was very friendly and helpful) took our feedback to discuss it with the kitchen.
A woman who had just finished her shift walked past us on her way out, muttering, "It was them," and then gave us a very cold look as she left.
This spoiled our experience because we felt judged.
We also felt somewhat rushed during our meal.

The oyster aperitif is a must-try: an excellent appetizer. The menu was well-received, offering good value for money. A nice little Charentais wine was recommended. Plus, there's parking nearby. A very pleasant experience.

The restaurant's main strength is undeniably its location. The setting is quite pleasant, with the terrace overlooking the marina.
O'Gabier offers traditional cuisine. The dishes are generally decent, but they sorely lack originality and are nothing extraordinary. We tried the Périgord salad and the O'Gabier salad: they look appealing, but the taste is very basic and unsurprising. We were left wanting more in terms of flavor.
Expect to pay around €40 per person for an aperitif, a main course, and a dessert. This price seems a bit high considering the simplicity of the dishes. The experience didn't impress me, and I won't be returning.
