Gare Aux Papilles sur Poitiers

Very clean and the food was very good.

Not the best coffee I've ever had, but decent if you're just passing through. I had some time to kill before my next connection, so I stopped for 40 minutes. The service was fine. The snacks were okay. Far from the best hot chocolate I've ever had, but still. It's a café near the train station, and I already have a biased view of cafés near train stations, which I think are just money-grabbing places. Be warned, there were no restrooms available when I went! I wouldn't advise against going there. However, I wouldn't recommend it either. Only if you're burdened with luggage, it's a place to consider for a quick coffee, I think.

A quiet little spot before the train

Quiet place, ideal for waiting for your train. Wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, pasta and salads. Nice selection of original desserts. For my part, I had a slice of Basque cake, delicious! Thank you also for the warm welcome from the waitress.
