Gare Aux Papilles sur Poitiers

Nothing exceptional, as some comments point out, but since there is absolutely nothing decent in the station and its surroundings, I would say that finding a sandwich, dessert, and drinks deal at 3 p.m. and being able to sit down in a pleasant cafe was a gift during this heatwave.

Very nice, quiet little spot, the welcome is pleasant.

A great atmosphere every time we come, always friendly and quick service. The arrival of pizzas has made us want to come almost every lunchtime even more.

Not the best coffee I've ever had, but decent if you're just passing through. I had some time to kill before my next connection, so I stopped for 40 minutes. The service was fine. The snacks were okay. Far from the best hot chocolate I've ever had, but still. It's a café near the train station, and I already have a biased view of cafés near train stations, which I think are just money-grabbing places. Be warned, there were no restrooms available when I went! I wouldn't advise against going there. However, I wouldn't recommend it either. Only if you're burdened with luggage, it's a place to consider for a quick coffee, I think.
