Generoso sur Paris

A true gem. Small, casual, cosy. Outstanding service. But the food…oh my was the food good. Amazing vitelo tomato , even better pasta with truffle sauce and a killer tiramisu. Really worth a detour. Bravo

Honestly, a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent, and the staff very pleasant. A truly excellent place.

A little restaurant I stumbled upon after leaving the theater. A cozy place, a laid-back Italian owner (just the way we like them!), and delicious food! It's small, so be sure to book! 🙂

Really good Italian food, with everything fresh. Nice staff and pretty location next to the canal. Good people watching! We had the carbonara (bacon was much better than we’ve had in carbonara generally) and the tagliatelle special with bacon, truffle, and mushrooms. Finished with the tiramisu. All delicious!

I visited this restaurant on the 22nd of September 2026. The restaurant is small and cozy, the atmosphere was great and inside is very well designed. We had no trouble getting a table. I ordered Capeletti pasta and within the first bite my tongue was introduced to tons of different tastes and emotions. I've been to Italy quite a few times, and back home my family and I eat lots of pasta and we eat it almost four days a week. I thought I know everything there is to know about pasta. But this dish... Oh my God. The smell of bacon, the creaminess of the sauce, the mushrooms and pasta all went so well one with another that I had to pause just to process this new taste in my mouth and to control myself from inhaling it in twenty seconds. I've also tried their tiramisu. The cocoa was not too sweet nor too bitter, the cream was just the right consistency to be creamy but not too much. The food, paired with the soft lights and the overall design of the restaurant, gave my experience at this restaurant a lot of different emotions, but most importantly - made me feel like I was at home. It made me feel nostalgic of a place I've never been to before today. I hope that afterlife feels like this place and I hope to have another chance to eat this food once again if (or when) I come back to Paris again. Grazie mille!

Went with my wife for dinner as we were craving some Italian food. Absolutely loved it - the food, the atmosphere and the wines. Barbara was a gracious host and took out some time to chat with us. We’ll definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
