An excellent contemporary art museum. In addition to its permanent collection and temporary exhibitions, which are usually of a very high standard, I recommend visiting the digital section where you can explore and analyze great pieces of video art in detail.

A wonderful space where you can see so many great works! I'm so sad I couldn't see it this year.

Before its temporary closure for renovation, the Centre Pompidou offered one of the most memorable and joyful cultural experiences in Paris. More than just a museum, it felt like a living, breathing creative playground where art, music, and people collided in the best possible way. From the moment you entered, there was an energy in the air — fun events, live music, and spectacular performances transformed the space into something vibrant and unexpected, breaking the traditional boundaries of what a museum visit usually feels like.
Each floor revealed a different artistic universe. The top levels were home to diverse art galleries, showcasing modern and contemporary works that challenged, inspired, and surprised at every turn. The curation felt bold and playful, encouraging visitors to explore freely and engage with art in their own way. One of the most unforgettable highlights was the roller disco — an iconic, joyful spectacle that perfectly captured the Centre Pompidou’s experimental spirit, blending movement, sound, and art into a truly unique experience.
Reaching the upper floors was a reward in itself. From the top, the view over Paris was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the city stretch endlessly beneath you — rooftops, landmarks, and the rhythm of Parisian life — was both stunning and emotional. It offered a rare moment of pause and wonder, a reminder of how beautiful and alive Paris truly is. The Centre Pompidou wasn’t just a place to see art; it was a place to feel it.

An interesting, strange and huge building, the positive is the wonderful view of the surroundings.

Located in the Beaubourg district of Paris, the building houses the Musée National d’Art Moderne (Museum of Contemporary Art) and the main public library (Bibliothèque publique d’information). Branches of the museum are located in Metz (France), Malaga (Spain), Brussels (Belgium), and Shanghai (China).

I went to check it out before it closed. There were many pigeons in front of the gate. Kids could feed and play with the pigeons here since there wasn't much else to do.

It is worth visiting for both its permanent and temporary exhibitions. It includes a rich library and a shop with books and objects of modern art and design.

One of my all-time favourite museums. I just love the Centre Pompidou. Every time I’m in Paris, I make my way here. It’s a place that matters, a haven for the creative and the curious, a benchmark for what culture can be. I can’t wait for its reopening. Until then, I’ll follow its exhibitions across the city, Grand Palais, Philharmonie, and beyond. No goodbyes.
