If you love museums, this is a must if you are in Paris

What a wonderful experience for anyone visiting Paris! The price is reasonable, there is a free bag/coat check and our family of 4 was able to spend hours here! We loved taking the caterpillar escalator up the exterior of the building. The museum had a wonderful collection with great little space to take a break when needed. And it’s always fun to see what libraries in other cities look and feel like. This space has great views of the whole city and provided so many great conversation prompts for us to discuss with the kids.

I been here a few time it’s always good, the building is beautiful, the art pieces are awesome I like it a lot!!

Visit to the incredible Pompidou center, before the work planned for the end of 2024, we were able to see the permanent collection and the temporary exhibition. Very rewarding and impressive! The breathtaking view of Paris from the top two floors and the relaxing gardens allow you to make the most of it.

Superb Brancusi exhibition visited in July 2024

Museum as pleasant and innovative as ever. Superb comic book exhibition on all floors with stars and lesser-known authors, many superb original plates. Special focus on Corto Maltese, its origins and characteristics without forgetting the dedicated reading corner offered with albums available.

July 2024 Opinion on the exhibition “Comics on all levels” A must for fans of the 9th Art. A rich and very well organized exhibition: plates, projections, newspapers... There are many styles: black and white or colors; satirical comics, science fiction, horror. The big names in comics are presented. Some plates are true pictorial works. You can stroll there in an hour, to see everything in detail, two hours. Very nice event as Beaubourg will close its doors in 2025 for a facelift lasting several years.

Expect a stereotypical Parisian experience. Half the waiters are very kind and half are rude. My uncle lived in France half his life and only at this restaurant did a male waiter and female hostess pretend they don’t understand him “huh” and switch to English. They also have an attitude. The other waiters were kind and generally quick. Beef tartare and foie gras were good and presently nicely. Overall, an average experience. Would expect better for a restaurant next to a gallery.

La personne qui nous place est très gentille mais nous parle d’une voix évanescente ce qui fait qu on étendait à ce qu’elle disait. Elle ne savait pas marcher avec ses bottes qui avaient des talons qui claquaient et qu on entendait des qu elle plaçait les gens. Nous avons eu un gentil jeune homme pour le service qui nous explique qu il n’y a pas de carafe d’eau mais l’eau au verre!!! Ce qui nous oblige à prendre une bouteille d’eau. La table d’à côté après avoir réclamé 2 verres d’eau à aussi commandé une bouteille. Il y avait une serveuse qui avait les cheveux très longs et pas attachés ce qui fait sale et quand elle se penchait, ses cheveux auraient pu baigner dans l’assiette. De plus elle avait une veste avec des manches trop longues qu’à force elle a renversé un soliflore. Une autre , un t shirt sans manche. Pas tres agréable de voir les dessous de bras des serveuses. Autant les hommes sont en costumes tandis que les femmes sont habillées sans classe et c’est dommage pour un resto qui se veut de standing. L’assiette est correcte, rien à dire. Cela faisait longtemps que je n’étais pas venue. Dommage de la tenue de l’équipe. Ça manque de managing. Heureusement la vue est toujours aussi fabuleuse!!
