Giraudet sur Lyon

For a quick lunch, head to Giraudet. “Soup” menu (cauliflower/girolles/hazelnuts). Then pan-fried quenelle (pike/crayfish) very tasty accompanied by a salad (green/tomatoes). Dessert ! unfortunately no more pistachio and chocolate chip cake with fruit coulis. We were offered a fruit coulis, too bad... The menu cost 14.90 euros. The team in place is very friendly and efficient.

Très bien reçu ce jour à la boutique Giraudet. Dans mon grand malheur il n'y a plus de gaspacho en hiver, mais les quenelles sont là c'est l'essentiel.

Excellent, je recommande fortement de s’arrêter déjeuner. Plusieurs formules à prix vraiment très honnête (de 13 à 16€), avec lesquelles mon compagnon et moi nous sommes régalés. Amuses bouches en entrée (quenelle au saumon et au fromage frais, une autre à la sauce verveine citronnée) très fins et qui nous ont agréablement surpris, excellents plats chauds, justement assaisonnés, agréables et réconfortants. Délicieux dessert gourmand. Un bon accord de vin. Service prévenant, rapide, discret, agréable, souriant. Parfait en sommes !

Vielen Dank an Natalie und Eve für ein vorzügliches Mittagessen! Die beiden haben uns eine große Lyoner Spezialität nahegebracht - besser geht ein kultivierter Snack nicht!!! Schönes Lokal mit Hochtischen, blitzesauber, freundlich. Perfekt.

It is our very first time in Lyon. We were just looking for somewhere to have soup for lunch. We stumbled upon Quenelles Giraudet not knowing that we were walking into a little slice of heaven. We are English speakers (with very little French). Not a problem, the whole menu was explained to us in detail. The detail sounded great and the food itself was even better than it sounded when it arrived a few minutes later. The quenelles were so light, airy, delicate and tasty. The soup was so obviously made fresh and beautifully seasoned. One of us had friand for dessert with simply gorgeous raspberry couli. The other had a chocolate fondant to die for. We will be bringing our friends to this place for lunch when they arrive in Lyon tomorrow.

Great gaspacho, wide selection of quenelle. We tried the classic gratin and tomato quenelle with tomato sauce - both really good. Added plus is the cool air conditioning 😃 friendly team
