We stopped for the night during a tour of the Ubaye Valley. The owners are a French-Sardinian couple who are welcoming with a little patience. The meals are simple and of very good quality, as are the picnics. It was delicious.

We're always delighted to have lunch at this inn; the welcome is perfect and the place enchanting! There's a single set menu that includes starters, main courses, and desserts, prepared with seasonal produce and delicious flavors, as always. And today, on Mother's Day, we received a thoughtful touch: we left with a lovely little plant and a beautiful pillbox. Thank you again to the whole team!

25/10/2026: Having loved the valley for many years, we enjoy going to this restaurant as a family whenever we're in the Ubaye Valley. The ingredients are local, prepared with taste and passion by the chef. The menu is varied and delicious. All this in a family atmosphere with mountain-style decor, but not only that... Before leaving, don't forget to pick up some homemade bread and pastries. This establishment embodies the spirit of the village and defines the identity of the Col de Larche.
24/10/2026: A wonderful experience at Mare e Monti. Excellent food, a great atmosphere, you feel right at home! Highly recommended.
