Gite du Lison sur Nans-Sous-Sainte-Anne

Fantastic welcome, very attentive, delicious meals and picnics (sandwiches at lunchtime at the summit of Les Monges and we thoroughly enjoyed the tabbouleh in the evening at the Cabane de Chine :o), very comfortable room, breakfast available early in the morning – nothing but good things to say about this one-night stop (May 30, 2026) on the Art Refuge Tour. Three days of mountain biking with friends in a superb setting and a very suitable gîte. The owners are incredibly kind.

A magnificent gîte, ideally located. We were a group of 15 mountain bikers staying for two nights. A very warm welcome and excellent food. Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. Authon is nestled in the heart of the mountains, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this gîte.

A hiking club of 17 people stayed from May 9th to 12th, 2026. We appreciated the warm welcome from Mélanie and Bacher. The meals were excellent and delicious, both those eaten at the gîte and those prepared for our picnics. It's a shame the weather wasn't better to enjoy the outside of the gîte. The gîte's location is ideal for hiking the major sites of the Monges mountains. A fantastic stay.

Lovely staff, excellent meals and picnics, and a very pleasant location by the stream, perfect for enjoying an aperitif in the garden in the evening. I highly recommend it!

We stayed one night during a multi-day hike. We received a very warm welcome from Amélie and Bachir, who cooked us delicious meals, which was especially appreciated after a day of walking! The rooms were spotless, the beds perfect. And the icing on the cake: our kind hosts helped us out with some supplies as we were running low on food to continue our mountain adventure. Thank you!

We had dinner at this guesthouse. It was very good and the hosts were very welcoming. We would definitely return.

A wonderful weekend at Gîte des Monges! A warm welcome, a peaceful and completely exotic setting, a splendid hike… and an absolutely fabulous tagine prepared by Chef Bachir. We highly recommend it!
