Glacier Au Grand St Nicolas sur Romans-Sur-Isere

I never fail to stop there every time I pass through Romans.

Beautiful terrace, friendly place in the shade of plane trees. Service a little long especially when accompanying little ones. The pain is at the height of the ice cream. That is to say: quite expensive, not within the reach of all budgets. 4 ice creams and two waffles, more than €50. No pain no gain...

The staff is very friendly but unfortunately overwhelmed by the number of customers. More than an hour of waiting in the evening, I totally understand the fact that one person cannot be everywhere at once, but perhaps we should refuse new customers in this case or warn them of the time of waiting. The ice creams are generous, the choice is very varied, but unfortunately our ice creams arrived already melted. However, I recommend this historic glacier in Romans Sur Isère (outside peak hours).

Ice cream parlor with a simply enormous choice! Too bad the hot chocolate served with the ice cream is not dark chocolate and served separately.
