Grand Hotel du Parc sur Florac

A beautiful park with mature trees and a view of the Causse Mejean. We have been returning to this place for 30 years and enjoy the atmosphere of nostalgic summer retreats.

Ideal if you're traveling in a large group. However, the bed is too small for tall people.

The hotel is in need of a refresh; it has great potential to regain its former glory and meet 21st-century standards: the grounds are magnificent, and the pool is very large. Some rooms have been nicely renovated, but the common areas and bathrooms need updating.

A wonderful welcome from the head waiter, who was very attentive to his guests and responsive to their needs. The service was excellent; I highly recommend it and give it five stars! From two delighted Quebecers!

It was disappointing to find that the restaurant is no longer open, even though the website still advertises it and the "Maître Restaurateur" sign is still displayed on the exterior. Furthermore, having to cross the park in the rain to reach one's room, when rooms are available in the first building, is not very pleasant. The only positive point is the covered motorcycle parking. Let's hope it isn't also reserved for luxury cars.

The hotel is ideally located near the center of Florac and is very visible upon arrival. We were able to park our car near the beautiful wooded park, which is open to guests. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms in the main building are spacious and clean. We just wished for a little more water pressure in the shower and better ventilation in the toilet. On the street side, you can definitely hear the noisy motorcycles... The breakfast room is very pleasant, with a view of the park. Everything is there, from savory to sweet, fresh fruit, pastries... The products are of good quality. A little tip for those staying several nights and who want to access their room in the early afternoon: keep your key as reception is closed until 3:30 pm. We are delighted to have chosen this hotel and thank the entire team for their excellent service and friendly smiles.

Only one night spent but I will definitely come back: very friendly welcome, the place is magnificent with a superb park filled with the song of blackbirds.

The park and the pool are the highlights of this hotel. However, contrary to what is stated online, there is no longer a restaurant.

A hotel that has retained a certain charm. A sumptuous breakfast. Reasonable price. Arrived a little late to enjoy the pool.
