grand hotel pelisson sur Nontron

We used to stay here around 20 years ago, latterly with our then young son. It is now under new ownership and has been tastefully modernised without loss of previous charm. The pool was there then but it and the surrounding space has been improved. The owner/manager and staff were very peasant. My late arrival was coped with gracefully, for which I am grateful. I would happily return.

Ce n'est pas l'expérience du siècle...j'avais réservé avec un peu d'avance. Le stationnement se fait de l'autre côté du porche. Une grande arrière cour attend votre voiture. Pratique. La bâtisse est assez ancienne. La rénovation n'est pas à mon goût mais l'hôtel est fonctionnel. La chambre est assez rustique. La salle de bains plutôt élémentaire. Pour une nuit d'étape c'est acceptable mais l'ensemble manque de charme. Le petit dej est assez sommaire . L'ensemble de la prestation est moyenne, sans charme . Je n'en garderai pas un grand souvenir.
