Grand Largue sur Arzon

To celebrate a wedding anniversary, we dined this evening at Le Grand Largue, drawn by its exceptional setting and renowned gourmet cuisine. We had a wonderful evening thanks to the warm welcome and attentive service, and the quality of the dishes, such as the live lobster served in two appetizers and a main course, the blue lobster from Brittany, and for dessert, the Grand Marnier soufflé. All this against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset. We'll definitely return, even on a cloudy day!

The welcome was excellent, and lunch overlooking the sea promised a wonderful experience. The food was high quality... but the portions were lacking: only one langoustine in the starter, "langoustines in samosas" (unacceptable for €31!!!), and the portion of roast lobster was very small. This somewhat spoiled what had started to be a promising meal. On the other hand, the Grand Marnier soufflé was delicious. One last unpleasant surprise was the price of the "Suze" aperitif at... €16!!!! These details left us more disappointed than satisfied.

I really liked the atmosphere of this little port restaurant. There are people all around, the terrace is sunny, and you can simply enjoy a very nice lunch outside. The dishes are original and really tasty. The menu is not very big, but for me this is usually a good sign - it often means that the kitchen knows what it is doing. One small tip: if you order the Caesar salad, I would recommend the S portion. The difference with XL is not so big, but the price difference is quite noticeable.

From Carnac, we had arranged to meet friends for lunch and we took a boat from Locmariaquer, arriving right in front of the restaurant. It was incredibly convenient and made for a memorable crossing. Virginie gave us a very warm welcome, and the view of the gulf from the restaurant is absolutely stunning. The service was simply perfect, and the dishes were refined and delicious. Virginie offered excellent advice on choosing wine from their extensive selection. In short, it's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy delicious dishes from appetizer to dessert. I opted for a selection of appetizers and a main course featuring lobster 😋😋😋. For dessert, I savored an exceptional Grand Marnier soufflé. In short, I recommend this restaurant 1000%!

Le Grand Largue, located on the old port of Port-Navalo, offers an exceptional setting with a magnificent view of the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan, worthy of a true postcard. But beyond the decor, it's the food that truly sets the experience apart. We particularly appreciated the chef's work: flavorful, refined, and perfectly executed dishes. Every bite was a real delight. The price reflects the quality of the ingredients, the expertise, and the flavors offered. We would also like to highlight the quality of the service: discreet, professional staff who were very attentive to our needs. A truly wonderful restaurant that we recommend without hesitation.

We didn't have the chance to have lunch there, so we can't comment on the food or the service. However, the setting is absolutely magnificent. The view of the harbor is superb, and the establishment immediately makes you want to sit down and eat. The location is exceptional, and the atmosphere is particularly appealing. A very tempting place that we'll gladly try on our next trip to the area. 🌊😊
