Excellent Italian restaurant! The pasta and risotto were superb. A very nice wine list. In short, a delight with a super friendly owner.

Friendly service. The owner had experience with gluten-free/celiac food and suggested certain options. Beautiful garden and plenty of seating. Private parking behind the restaurant.

A fantastic experience! What a pleasure to find a true Italian chef on Île de Ré. With an Italian menu to complete the ambiance! We went for lunch with our son, and the dishes were so delicious that we had to return before the end of our vacation. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the quality of the food and wines, and the chef's friendliness. And for those who complain about the prices, unfortunately, on Île de Ré, given the overhead costs, it's certainly impossible to do otherwise. Prices are high all over the island. And for Italian wine, buy it online; you'll certainly pay less, but you won't have the chef's advice or this wonderful setting to savor it with a good meal. Excellent service, a typical Italian courtyard atmosphere, and a very pleasant and attentive owner. As for the food, I recommend the tagliatelle served directly on a crust of melted, truffled cheese.

Simply thank you 🙏 We couldn't go to Italy (Puglia/Calabria) this year due to medical reasons, and one late afternoon at the beach, we decided to have our last holiday dinner at this restaurant. A complete change of scenery with seafood from the island!! We thoroughly enjoyed the pasta Cozze e Vongole and two tiramisu: one classic and the other lemon. The service on the terrace, hidden under the olive trees, was also a delight. Thank you for this excellent experience that transported us. For an hour and a half, both the atmosphere and the cuisine were truly magical… A significant bonus: dogs are welcome.

Excellent cuisine in a very pleasant setting. The service and welcome are very warm; I recommend the pistachio macaron for dessert.

The place is original, beautiful, unique, and well-decorated. The chef, of Italian origin, has a strong personality; he can be imposing, with a direct, almost gruff style, but you can also sense a big heart behind it. Regarding the dishes and my experience, I ordered the chef's signature risotto (€26). It was good, but I found it rather small—about fifteen bites and it was gone. The rice was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were spot on. I mentioned this to the chef, telling him it was good but not very filling. He didn't take it well; he made me want to laugh. Nothing is hidden with him; he's very frank. He explained that it was "80g of rice before cooking, and excuse me for being Italian." I didn't press the issue, but perhaps a smaller plate would be better, or the presentation could be improved. The pastry the rice was placed on wasn't really edible, so it felt a bit light for the price. My wife ordered the Linguine with prawns and seafood, and it was a completely different experience. I helped her finish it; her plate was overflowing. It was very good, and there were 120g of pasta before cooking, but with the generous toppings, there was nothing to complain about. For dessert, we had the "café gourmand," which gave us the chance to try the lemon tiramisu, a real success. The wine list is varied, and the chef offers good recommendations. However, be aware that the prices are a bit high. The service is attentive and very pleasant. Overall, it was a pleasant and even enjoyable experience for me. The food was high quality, but be aware that the portion sizes vary depending on the dish. The value for money isn't excellent; I've had much better. Nevertheless, this restaurant is worth trying; it's unique and original in Ars.

We ended up at this restaurant because there was no room anywhere else, and we weren't disappointed! 👍👍👍 The food was absolutely top-notch. The Italian welcome was superb. I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back during our stay. Go for it without hesitation! The gourmet coffee was fantastic! 🤤🤤🤤
