Grimbergen Cafe sur Carvin

The food was good...for a reasonable price. One small complaint...the vegetables weren't hot enough.

I went in for a drink and found the waitress very unpleasant. She demanded politeness from me, but she clearly lacked it herself, except with the regular customers. She had a petty attitude, and my local accent didn't go over well either, as if I had any control over it! She even pointed it out... a real lack of professionalism. As a department manager, I wouldn't want one of my employees speaking to a customer like that! So, it's a shame; it's not a friendly bar atmosphere. I'll have my drink somewhere else next time.

Honestly, I recommend it 1000 times over! Unlimited starter, cheese and dessert buffets with a starting formula at 12.90 euros for the dish of the day or 14.90 with 1 meat! And for 16.90 it's unlimited meat! Plus the meat is very good. Obviously it's not always fresh produce but the value for money is more than there! And very friendly, polite and smiling staff!

The concept is nice. But the mussels were undercooked and full of shellfish pieces.

Well, honestly, very welcoming, helpful, friendly, and all with a smile. I highly recommend it. Thanks to the whole team 😀
