As a former driver, I used to stop there regularly to eat and spend the night. Returning from vacation on July 14th, almost 15 years after my last visit, it was open, still under the same ownership, and the food was still just as good. A truly great find, this restaurant is far too little known. Hope to see you again soon!
We had a very enjoyable meal at this charming restaurant where we were greeted with a smile. Excellent, generous meal with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended.
We spent our May Day weekend as a family (12 people) at Domaine de Moussais, located 7 km from the restaurant. We appreciated the catering service from La Halte au Goëlat for two dinners: a simple dinner at €15 per person and a celebratory dinner (with petits fours, etc.) at €32 per person. Everything was perfect, with appetizers and desserts served in individual portions, and main courses ready to reheat in the oven. The portions were more than adequate and of good quality. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating, tailoring the menus to everyone's tastes.
