The meat was excellent and cooked to perfection.
Contrary to what you might see in the reviews, I found the owner friendly.
So yes, the meat is fatty, but it's presented before cooking. If you don't like fat, ask for it changed instead of badmouthing those who work hard to be the best.

Type 1 fun. The steak didn’t last long and neither did my clothes. The waiter recommended great wine and food followed by an array of aperitifs. My favourite was bright green and described as ‘gasoline’. There’s a wall of fame if you give it enough large ones post dinner they’ll get you up there. Italian chef was superb also.

At the foot of the seafood market at Les Halles de Biarritz is Haragia, a monument to basque steak and pork. We ordered a Basque paté, charcuterie, a pork chop, a veal chop and Txuleta, a basque bone-in ribeye. Each so good we shared with everyone at the table. Served with fries and a simple salad. I plan on a guy's night out next week. 5 🥩.
Call for a reservation and arrive exactly at 7pm.
