Hippopotamus sur Paris

We had a bad initial experience with a bartender, but the establishment kindly apologized via Google review. The food was delicious!

The restaurant is very large and very nice..... Good food and portions adequate for the price, the only flaw was the service, we had to wait 20-25 minutes just to order, then the dishes arrived quite quickly. Then we ordered 2 children's menus which included a dessert and a surprise. For the dessert we had to ask 3 waiters, for the little surprise they told us that it would be given to us on the way out, (envelope with small toys and colored pencils) and if they had been delivered immediately upon arrival at least the children would pass the time. However, at the exit there was no one waiting for us to give us the surprise and we had to annoy a couple of waitresses to get it. In my opinion they do it on purpose so as not to give anything to anyone, so much so that the girl didn't even know where to look!

I would like to personally thank the head waitress who is located after the entrance upstairs. It's a shame I didn't remember her name, she was very pleasant and attentive, and my family and I had a great lunch time. Thanks a lot Madam.

Super restaurant very welcoming, the cocktails were very good, the gratin dauphinois was very delicious thank you and good luck.

Well, nothing to complain about, food or service

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Hippopotamus Restaurant and was absolutely delighted with my experience! The warm and friendly atmosphere, combined with impeccable service, especially the waitress Binta, who provided great service, really made my evening memorable. In addition, the quality of the dishes was exceptional. Every bite was a delight for the taste buds, and the portions were generous. I highly recommend the Hippopotamus restaurant to anyone looking for a quality dining experience, in a pleasant and welcoming setting.

We ate 2 big BURGERS! You can smell the flavor of the meat and the cheddar, a combination that makes you throb my gosh. Very cozy place and you can color!
