I don't know what to tell you, seriously, my wife and I really appreciate good food, and to be honest, this time we went to Hippopotamus in Aéroville (I have to specify that). The starter was absolutely insane! The ravioli and chicken bites were an incredible explosion of flavor, and the burgers were perfectly cooked and excellent. The sides were great, with a delicious homemade sauce. Honestly, I'd give it a 9/10 (you can't give 10, you know, lol). I highly recommend it, and enjoy your meal!

I had the opportunity to have lunch there three times, and the service varied considerably from one day to the next. I was quite disappointed, being pregnant, as no one could tell me if the foie gras was semi-cooked and pasteurized or not (I was told there was no packaging in the kitchen and given an allergen guide which didn't provide any further answers). I had to send back my well-cooked meat twice because it was bloody. I asked for bread, which I never received, and for ketchup and mayonnaise, which I had to serve myself at their counter. That said, the portions are decent, and the price is reasonable.

I have rarely received such excellent service. Our Esat server was very attentive, pleasant, and smiling – a truly wonderful experience!

She took excellent care of us from beginning to end, always with a smile and such positive energy that it made our meal even better. You can tell she truly loves her job, and it makes all the difference. Impeccable, fast, and warm service, with genuine attention to her customers. Johanna greatly contributed to making our evening superb, and she's the kind of person who makes you want to come back without hesitation. Thank you again for her professionalism, good humor, and kindness, which is all too rare these days. 👏✨
