I came for a simple piece of beef, and I'll probably leave riding on the back of a wild hippopotamus.
The meat was so tender that my steak knife felt useless and resigned. Special mention goes to the Roquefort sauce, clearly made with a grandmother's love and the precision of a Swiss watchmaker. The fries arrived hotter than the July weather, and the service was so quick and friendly that I almost left them my firstborn as a tip.
In short, if perfection had horns and a big smile, it would be working at the Hippopotamus grill. Go there with your eyes closed, but your mouth wide open.

The waitress was very pleasant. The food was very good. The only slight drawback was the very acidic red berry panna cotta.

We came to eat at Hippopotamus and had a truly excellent time! The welcome was very warm, the staff very friendly and attentive. The service was impeccable: the dishes were beautifully presented, everything was prepared with great care.
I particularly enjoyed the ribeye steak: truly excellent, very tender, and above all, cooked to perfection.
Honestly, this is one of the best Hippopotamus restaurants I've been to so far. A wonderful experience, from the welcome to the service and the quality of the food.
I highly recommend it.
