We came to Hippopotamus for lunch and we were not disappointed by any aspect of the meal. The restaurant was clean, the service from Agathy was friendly and fast, and the food was delicious! I got the Montagnard Burger and my wife got the same but with a veggie patty. Both were delicious and juicy!

We visited Hippopotamus Steakhouse in Toulouse for a casual family dinner. The restaurant has a nice, modern atmosphere with a comfortable and relaxed vibe — great for families or small groups. The food itself was decent; everything was cooked nicely, but the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. Service was friendly, but communicating was a little tricky since not much English was spoken, which slowed things down a bit. On the positive side, the kids’ menu was very good, and the staff were attentive and kind with children, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a pleasant place to eat with a nice ambiance, but improvements in portion size and service would make the experience even better.

The waiter was smiling and friendly, which is always appreciated and immediately puts you at ease. As for the food, everything was delicious—flavorful, well-prepared dishes that were enjoyed by both my children and me. A truly wonderful experience from beginning to end.
