A wonderful discovery at Hiriartia in Ahetze. Jules and Elisa are at the helm, and frankly… it's a joy to see. When you're in the business, you know what it means to create your own place, to take risks, and to champion your vision. And here, that vision is already clearly present: generous cuisine, beautiful ingredients, contemporary, without ever being pretentious. An accessible, relaxed place with real personality. This is exactly the kind of project I love to see emerge here: hard work, passion, sincerity, and above all, enjoyment. Congratulations to you both, you're already off to a fantastic start. ❤️

New owners and a new menu. Everything is delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly seasoned—you can taste the flavors of Urrabia and Barbakoa. Lunch consisted of melon tzatziki, hand-cut steak tartare, and orange rice pudding. We'll be back—soon—for the dinner menu! Highly recommended 👍👍👍

⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a resident of the village of Ahetze, I ate at this restaurant for the first time since the change of ownership. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food: the ingredients were good, the dishes flavorful, and the work in the kitchen was truly excellent. We shared a foie gras appetizer, each ordered a main course, as well as two coffees and drinks. The bill came to €87.50 for a Saturday lunch. My only criticism concerns the value for money, which I found a bit high, especially for a small village. In my opinion, the portions could be a little more generous considering the prices. I should mention that I live in the village and am not a tourist, and it is precisely as a local resident that I wish to give a sincere and constructive review. The quality is certainly there, but it would be worthwhile to reconsider the portion sizes or the prices. Nevertheless, I wish the new owners much success and I hope to return soon to discover other dishes.

We first came for a drink on the terrace and a light snack. We were charmed by the welcome and the quality of the food. It made us want to come and eat in the restaurant. We were once again delighted by the atmosphere, the welcome, and the quality of the food and dishes. Thank you for this lovely place to discover, both for visitors and locals—you're very lucky!

The food is as beautiful as it is delicious, the kind of experience that delights your eyes, your palate, and your soul. It had been a long time since I'd felt such pleasure through food. The chef's dishes are generous and sublime, the service is friendly and pleasant, the place exudes Basque charm, and the ingredients reflect that. All of this almost makes you believe that doing things well is easy. Thank you, and I'll definitely be back very soon.
