An excellent experience at this distinguished restaurant, awarded a Michelin Bip Gourmand and a Gault & Millau toque. The restaurant's facade is elegant, and from the moment you enter, you're immersed in a rather original, chic bistro atmosphere, with well-chosen decor and a cozy, intimate ambiance. Tables are dressed with white tablecloths. The menu isn't extensive, but the food was delicious. We opted for the Bip Gourmand menu at €39 per person (starter, main course, and dessert or cheese). Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, the meat was very tender, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The service was quite quick, and the staff was pleasant. You can even leave with a small bag of sweets if you ask. Truly excellent value for money! A must-try!

We came for lunch today as a family to celebrate moving house. We'd never been to the restaurant before, but we'd heard nothing but good things. And indeed, it was. Between the efficient and very pleasant waiters and waitresses, the delicious food thanks to the quality of the ingredients, and the restaurant's atmosphere, it was a very enjoyable experience, one of the best I've ever had. I should also mention that I had asked them to seat us in a quieter area because one of us is hard of hearing, a request they readily granted! Go without hesitation, you'll love it!

It's simply flawless. This restaurant is exceptional, both in terms of the balance of flavors and the sumptuous setting.

A very cozy restaurant, decorated like a candy store. Inside, you can also see how your meat or fish is cooked over a charcoal fire. We took the menu histoire, with a gazpacho with chorizo ​​cheese and the Potjevleech as starters. For the main course, we had the salmon and veal kidneys. Finally, the chocolate finger and marinated strawberries. This was all very tasty. Personally, I am not a fan of the marinated strawberries, but that is down to our preferences. The house white wine is highly recommended; it is delicious. It was a truly pleasant visit with friendly and professional service. Definitely recommended for sampling French cuisine in Calais.

Since we unfortunately don't speak sufficient French, we had difficulty choosing our food and drinks. The head waitress showed absolutely no consideration for this and was in no way helpful or accommodating. The fact that I couldn't have an aperitif or a full meal due to illness seemed to genuinely annoy her, and from that point on, we were treated like mere guests who needed to be rushed through. My wife's appetizer was interesting. The sauces and the gratin with the main course were good, but the meat portion was very small and, unfortunately, some of it was tough and sinewy. The dessert was excellent. Overall, we hadn't expected to be treated so unprofessionally as visitors in such an international city. This was very disappointing, especially since we hadn't experienced anything like it in other restaurants. The young waitresses were attentive and friendly.

Discovered this restaurant by chance, but the welcome was fantastic and the food was top-notch! 👍 I highly recommend it!
