Holy Bellies is a very good restaurant in the Gare du Nord area. I highly recommend it for breakfast. Just keep in mind that it's not the typical French breakfast "croissant + coffee + something else," but a more comprehensive breakfast. No croissant. And it's more of a diner-style place.
I've always had good luck finding a seat (the restaurant looks tiny, but it's actually a huge space). The wait is minimal, the staff is friendly and helpful, speaks French and English—and, most importantly, they offer excellent breakfast options.
Don't hesitate to order the "Two Side Dishes, Two Eggs" combo: it's a complete, balanced breakfast set. And not just breakfast, because this option is available until 4:00 PM. The recipe: the combo includes two eggs cooked your way of choice (poached, fried, or scrambled) and two side dishes, which you can also choose from eight options. It's filling and keeps you full for a long time. And if you go every day and choose different side dishes, you won't get bored.
Here are the side dishes we managed to try: Hashbrown - a plump, juicy cheesecake with a dense, crispy crust, made from delicious potatoes and, surprisingly, pearl barley. Sausage pottie - a sausage patty with a crispy crust, a sister and friend of the hashbrown, but with a distinct sausage flavor. Bacon - delicious, plentiful, well-cooked, go for it. Halloumi - a normal, tasty halloumi, adequately fried. Eggs: decent scrambled eggs, good fried eggs (we didn't try the poached ones, but everyone around us was asking for them). This whole thing is served with warm, lightly toasted bread and butter. Water, of course, is readily available.
Don't ignore the note box on the "2+2" page: there are good options there. For example, you can replace the bread in this set with salad, and they'll bring you a nice, fluffy green salad with a delicious dressing. Gluten-free eaters can order cornbread for €1.50. Incidentally, you can skip the eggs and choose a third or third side dish instead. Basically, the plan works for everyone.
The waiters and hostesses are very friendly. Water is brought first. The dishes are prepared fairly quickly. There's plenty of seating, both for larger groups and for smaller tables. The restrooms are excellent. The air conditioning works and is a lifesaver. They have their own merch, including ground coffee.
Overall, a great place for breakfast/lunch if you don't feel like gnawing on a croissant at the hotel.

A very good brunch, I've been coming for several years and it's always very good, however the price is relatively high like all Parisian brunches with little space and a long wait!

Best pancake ever! The atmosphere is super young, with a hipster vibe that I love. I waited in line for 40 minutes, but the food made up for every second. Fast service and a very fair price for the quantity. Perfect for solo travelers who want a relaxed environment.

We've had breakfast at Holybelly several times over the past three years. The breakfast, the quality, and the service are outstanding! The staff, a very international mix, are all not only beautiful but also incredibly friendly—almost startlingly so for Paris 😉.
I love it there, and we go for breakfast at least once on every trip to Paris.
On weekends, depending on the time of day, there can be a wait. We were there last weekday morning, and we didn't have to wait long.

A great brunch spot in Paris!
It can sometimes be hard to find a place to enjoy a good breakfast with eggs, and Holly Belly is the answer.
It's a real treat!
The service is warm and friendly, and the portions are generous.
An enticing menu with all the breakfast classics: pancakes, eggs, potato pancakes, and more...
Delicious pancakes, drinks, and desserts.
Everything is homemade with fresh, seasonal, and high-quality ingredients.
The pancakes topped with maple syrup, served with eggs and bacon, are a true delight!
The dining area is spacious and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
A big thank you to the staff, who are very friendly and welcoming!
It's always a pleasure to come here for brunch or lunch!

The staff were very kind and the food was simply amazing. The only downside is that you have to wait in line, so I recommend making a reservation.
