Heading back from Vieux Boucau Les Bains to Calais this was an ideal midpoint stopover.
Not too far from the motorway Semblançay is small, quiet and charming, as is this Logis. Bedroom was large and comfortable with en suite bathroom and a very powerful shower. Restaurant was outstanding, with a limited, and in some cases expensive, range of dishes but the food was terrific and the service attentive but unobtrusive. Had no problem catering to my son's gluten allergy.
Excellent value for money, and a restaurant that offers a varied, fresh, and high-quality selection of dishes. Breakfast is generous, with a wide selection of homemade products.
The bedding in the rooms is comfortable and cozy. There's just one minor drawback regarding soundproofing.
I'd like to give a special shout-out to Alice, who is a bit of a Swiss Army knife. She handles reception, room service, checkout, etc., with impeccable friendliness and professionalism. 👌🏿
I recommend this establishment without hesitation and will gladly return.
