Fantastic experience. Stayed three nights in April. We were in the Pavie room. Big room with large windows opening up over the terrace. The breakfast/bar room was great with croissants and bread and each morning a different homemade cake. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful from the bartenders and breakfast staff to the front desk who arranged bike rentals to wine tastings and the underground tour.
Also ate at the restaurant one night. A little on the pricey side but each course was better than the last. From the soup to the dessert.
The location is undeniably beautiful, but what we'll remember most about our stay at the Hôtel de Pavie is the warm welcome and genuine kindness of the entire team. Everyone was truly lovely and attentive from beginning to end.
We were so touched by all their thoughtful touches. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome note and a small treat in our room. And the icing on the cake: when we returned from dinner that evening, the team had left a rose and another little note. It's truly these details that make all the difference between a good hotel and a superb experience.
A huge thank you to them for making this weekend so enjoyable for us. We highly recommend it!
We just spent a weekend here for Valentine's Day. It was an unforgettable experience. Everything was perfect. We've been coming to this hotel for years and have always been delighted with our stay. This time was even better. Everything was perfect, from the moment we parked until we got back to our car. First of all, the room (Sainte Colombe) was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spacious. We were treated to some surprises (cakes and a bottle of champagne). Then came the Valentine's Day dinner, which is probably still the best meal we've ever had. It was worthy of a 3-star rating, which we hope it achieves soon. The service was impeccable, with the chef even presenting one of the dishes. The dining room is spacious and very comfortable. The bar (which we knew as the dining room) is beautiful and offers a view of the village of Saint-Émilion. Finally, the reception staff were efficient, friendly, and very professional. We have absolutely nothing to add to this perfect experience. We recommend the Pavia hotel without hesitation. We will return.
