Hostellerie d'Heloise sur Cluny

That was another absolute holiday highlight: the atmosphere is wonderful, just on the edge of the old town of Cluny, right on the river, lovingly furnished with very attentive service. But what sets this restaurant apart from almost all of them is the chef: great products, wonderfully prepared and, above all, always renewed in a surprising way. We always look forward to the visit long in advance. Absolutely recommended. (As with all top restaurants, it is of course advisable to reserve well in advance.)

Ein ganz ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Wir hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü. Die Speisen waren großartig und wurden durch zwei Grüße des Hauses komplettiert. Vorspeise: Sülze vom Hasen, Hauptspeise: Ente, Dessert: Schokokugel gefüllt mit Eis und frischen Früchten. Auf die Kugel wurde vom Kellner dann heiße Schokolade gegossen und die Kugel schmolz und gab den Blick auf das Eis und die Früchte frei - Sensationell! Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit Aussicht auf den kleinen Fluß durch Cluny. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Menü hat nur 40 Euro gekostet. Im Rheinland zahlt man für diese Qualität das doppelte. Also: Große Empfehlung und einen Umweg wert!

Warm welcome, friendly and smiling staff, present without being imposing, good advice. The menus are delicious for a fair price with portions that are neither too large nor too small, allowing you to eat the full menu without feeling too heavy at the end of the meal. An establishment like you find too few these days, which is not stuffy but very professional and makes you have a very good time. A very nice continuation to them and the pleasure of being in the sector again for another tasting!

An excellent meal, impeccable service, fine dishes with just the right seasoning, a perfect wine recommendation. The setting is great, the view of the bridge and the flowing water is pleasant and relaxing.
