Hostellerie du Grand Duc sur Gincla

6 weary motorcyclists arrived after a hard days riding to this beautifully restored old building and garden to be met by the owner who is very attentive and accommodating. The rooms are magnificent. We had the most amazing meal in the downstairs restaurant, the best meal of the week on our travels. In the morning we had a really good continental breakfast in the first floor breakfast room, with as much food as you can eat and freshly squeezed orange juice from an ingenious machine. I would highly recommend this Hotel for that special treat for your loved ones.

The only downside was the bedding, which was a bit too firm for my liking. The restaurant is fantastic, the cuisine refined and excellent.

Given the quality of our stay, we can only thank the hosts and their team! Their priority? Our well-being! Excellent food and attentive service in a peaceful building with a lovely history... Beautiful amenities (reading corners, billiards, fitness room)... all nestled in lush greenery in the heart of a charming, authentic village! We will gladly return and highly recommend the Hostellerie du Grand Duc!

A charming hotel in a superb, peaceful setting. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Everything is very well maintained. The meals are carefully prepared and delicious. But beyond the physical aspects, the stay is truly memorable thanks to the warm welcome, attentiveness, kindness, and helpfulness of the couple who run this establishment. These are qualities that are increasingly rare these days. I highly recommend it.

Magnificent. Superb. We had a very pleasant stay. Excellent welcome, very comfortable room, quiet hotel with a lovely garden. You can hear the river and the birds. The restaurant is very good with vegetarian options. I highly recommend it.

My stay at the Hostellerie du Grand Duc was far too short! Being away on business, I didn't have time to enjoy the garden and the surrounding tranquility, but I appreciated the comfort of the room and the thoughtful touches. I would gladly return to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside by bike!

We had a wonderful weekend with owners who are passionate about their work. We were pleasantly surprised by the scenery, ideal for hiking and nature lovers. We will be back.
