Hostellerie Saint Hubert sur Hambach

The hotel is perfectly located for a charming stopover along the A4 motorway. The food and service were excellent, and the room was spotless. The surroundings are beautiful.

We had a wonderful, short stay. The staff were very friendly, especially Stephanie, who served us a great breakfast. We would love to come back. With such beautiful scenery, the only things missing for a longer stay are a pool and a sauna.

The Hotel Restaurant @sthuberthambach is an address I highly recommend. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with great kindness and professionalism. The team created a welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. The restaurant's cuisine is simply excellent. Each dish was prepared with care, showcasing quality ingredients and genuine expertise. The flavors were exceptional, both in presentation and taste, making for a truly gourmet and refined experience. I would also like to warmly thank the establishment for organizing the contest, which I was fortunate enough to win. Thanks to this, I was able to enjoy a delicious dinner and a pleasant stay at their hotel. An unforgettable experience that I will cherish. A huge thank you again to the entire Saint-Hubert team for their warm welcome, their smiles, and their professionalism.

I loved it! However, the breakfast was a bit limited! The staff were okay, but not particularly friendly! Half a night was slightly disturbed by the noise of a wedding... And I was told to leave the room on time! A little more leniency regarding the nighttime noise would have been appropriate! But overall, great!

We ate there yesterday and were disappointed, whereas before we'd always been satisfied. The service was very slow and disorganized. We received the bread and amuse-bouche after we'd finished our aperitif, without being told what they were, which is risky if you have allergies, but oh well! We ordered a perfect egg under a cloche, but the waitress didn't remove the cloche, and the egg was hard-boiled... and not at all perfect. The snails tasted only of tomato... a shame. The meal itself, however, was very good and generous! And the dessert, "café gourmand," was also disappointing! A sort of mini flan on undercooked puff pastry, a fruit salad (apples), and a dry canelé... we expressed our disappointment to the waitresses and the cashier, but received no compensation. They simply told us: "We've changed chefs" (OK, but for €140 for two, you could have offered coffee or a digestif to compensate). In short, the prices are high, but if the service and food are worth it, I don't mind... but when they're not up to par, the prices seem exorbitant! Either you offer high-end food, and it's worth it, or you lower your standards, and the quality will also suffer. The setting is still pleasant, and the waitresses are too. It's just a shame about the organization. We'll probably come back to avoid ending on a bad note, but this time we were disappointed.
