Wonderful experience. Typical French food. We will go back.

Beautiful setting 🤩 The dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. The crème brûlée dessert was really small 🤨 The service didn't live up to the setting. The waiter was too rushed. The dishes were cleared before everyone had finished eating 😮 The waiter who served the wines seemed inexperienced. Online booking only, which is a shame, and a credit card imprint is required. A little disappointed, even though the place is lovely.

An interesting setting, but a rather mixed experience… The restaurant boasts an original setting, in a former abbey, although we found the atmosphere a bit cold. As for the food, nothing truly bad, but nothing particularly remarkable either. At this price point, we've had better elsewhere. The butcher's cut, ordered rare, arrived medium-rare. It must be said that the meat was so thin that it seemed difficult to achieve a truly rare finish! The fries were a bit too large for my taste. But the most disappointing aspect was the service, and especially the pressure we felt from the moment we arrived. We had a reservation for 1 p.m., and as soon as we were seated, we felt pressured to order quickly. After several reminders from the head waiter, our order was finally taken at 1:15 p.m. And then, the surprise: we absolutely had to decide at that moment whether we wanted dessert, because afterward, it would be too late! It was only 1:15 PM, in a restaurant where we had a reservation! We completely understand the organizational constraints of running a restaurant, but going to a restaurant is also about taking the time to enjoy a meal, without feeling like you're bothering anyone or constantly checking the time. In short, a place worth visiting for its architecture, decent food but nothing special, but an experience unfortunately spoiled by overly rushed service. At this price, we expected more, both in terms of the food and the service.

Exquisite cuisine in a breathtaking setting. The food is original and delicious. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The magnificent decor is exceptional. The privacy for conversations is ensured by the comfortable spacing between tables. We will definitely return to this establishment during our next stay in Bourges and highly recommend it.

Warm welcome without a reservation, excellent pumpkin soup, main course flank steak with sucrine lettuce; the lettuce portion was a little small. Beautiful building. Parking on site, don't hesitate to go in. Otherwise, along the Prés Fichaux garden

The dining room is very beautiful. The welcome was good. One drawback... when you order an aperitif, it's a real shame that the main course arrives far too quickly; you barely have time to finish before it arrives. So either you eat while drinking your aperitif, or you eat a cold meal. And it gives the impression that you have to rush your meal. Otherwise, the main course was good, the meat tender, and the chocolate mousse delicious.

The setting is very pleasant, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. Simplicity very well executed :)

A must-visit! The food is excellent and quite generous. The atmosphere in the abbey is very pleasant and surprisingly quiet since everyone whispers 😁 The service is impeccable and the staff very friendly. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes.
