Hotel de Commune - Rougemont sur Paris

25/01/2025: A bit disappointing experience for a one star dining expectation. Starters are fairly good, yet both main dishes from me and my husband feels a lot flat from the look and taste. My dish was a Venison, the meat itself was actually good, but the burrata and blackcurrant sauce came with it doesn’t fit. The sauce is way too sour and compromised the taste of the meat. My husband ordered wild hare. We found three small bullets in the meat. Though it’s not unusual because of the hunting, bite on it while eating indeed hurt your teeth, our waiter could have warned us in ahead. Overall not very impressive dinner for this level.
