I will not apply the hygienic standards for German restaurants here. That would be unfair, because then you would have to apply French culinary standards to German restaurants (schnitzel au four!). We ate very well here and were served correctly and quickly, at a more than fair price. You can't get a meal like this anymore in Germany at that price (according to my experience, mind you!), €42 for two rich and really good menus with an aperitif, 1/2L of table wine and a café. Maybe we'll come back here on the way back - or later. It would be worthwhile.
Had dinner after 8 in the evening
Another restaurant had already closed its kitchen
Delicious meal, the service is good
And with Google translate we will get there
The antourage still leaves much to be desired
Thank you for the service
The food was good
People only speak French
The environment is a bit outdated
But if you are hungry
Good food 3 courses simple
But a generous portion and we leave with a full belly
If, as previously said, we are initially taken aback by the storefront and the welcome, we are quickly pleasantly surprised by the service. The owner is attentive and smiling, ready to clear things up as soon as the meal is finished without being pushy. The wine is well chosen, the snails are very good, the warm goat cheese salad is very successful, the andouillette is just right and the duck breast with honey and blackcurrant is truly excellent. The desserts are also simple and effective. All this for 53€ with a beer, a coke and an orange juice, the value for money is more than correct.
