Hôtel de la Poste sur Chateauneuf-De-Randon

For Mother's Day, we had lunch at the Logis Hôtel Restaurant de la Poste and had a wonderful time. The setting is superb, with tasteful and welcoming decor. The dining room, entirely paneled in wood, offers an authentic and traditional atmosphere, giving the impression of sharing a meal in a beautiful mountain barn. The service was outstanding: the entire team was incredibly attentive and friendly, which greatly contributed to the quality of the experience. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed the refined dishes, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The asparagus risotto was delicious, the trout in curry sauce, a local specialty, was bursting with flavor, and the lamb steak was particularly tender and delicate. And the cheese platter was simply enormous! To finish, we savored a magnificent pavlova, generous and indulgent. A special mention for the thoughtful touch shown to my mother, who received a rose for Mother's Day. A small, simple gesture, but one that means a lot and shows the care given to customers. A wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will gladly return. 🌹🍽️✨

I highly recommend this establishment, especially the warm welcome we received from Marie and her uncle. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is varied and plentiful, and dinner is a real treat. If you're a motorcyclist, you'll be pampered with access to a secure garage. Marie's uncle will dry your belongings if they get wet (as they did for us during that very chaotic Ascension weekend). He looks at the motorcycles with affection and always asks about your ride. In 27 years of motorcycling, this establishment is in my top three. Thanks again to Marie and her uncle.

Impeccable service, always with a smile, very clean and modern rooms, a restaurant with dishes that are both beautiful and delicious, at an unbeatable price... in short, a truly wonderful place. I especially want to thank the hostess and the chef, who were so accommodating to my food intolerances – I'm not sure I would have done the same! 😁🙏🙏🙏🙏

We spent two wonderful days at this establishment, which ticks all the boxes for us. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfast offers a wide variety to please everyone, and the restaurant features carefully prepared local and seasonal products, with the added bonus of a sommelier's recommendations to perfectly complement each dish. Upon leaving, we can't help but wonder when we'll return. Thank you again.

A motorcycle weekend in Lozère and beyond the magnificent scenery, a pleasant surprise awaited us at this family-run hotel... a professional and very friendly welcome. The rooms are comfortable, the meals in the restaurant delicious in a beautiful, traditional dining room, the garage for motorcycles (a real plus)... not forgetting the Grange Détente. We had an excellent stay. Best wishes for the season to the whole team and cuddles to Syrah! 🤗

A bit pricey for a hiking lodge, but great rooms, and the evening meal was amazing. The packed lunch was also very good.

What can I say about this hotel? It was perfect. Thank you so much. I will be back.

Restaurant side only: it's good without being transcendent; however, my opinion is that the establishment's pricing is a bit high.

Perfect!! Thank you to the lady who served breakfast on the morning of February 8th, and to the aperitif the evening before, on February 7th around 8 pm – she was very kind and sweet! We had a wonderful stay and the food is excellent there.
