Hotel de la Poste et du Lion d'Or sur Vezelay

I loved the room I had at the hotel. It was one of the better night's sleep I had on my trip. The bathroom was lovely and large and the bed was super comfy. Do yourself a favour though and skip the restaurant.

A really nice but slightly quirky hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist. We had a lovely room on the top floor with terrific views across the countryside. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the day we stayed so we can't comment on that.

We had a suite which was large with a super-size and super-comfortable double bed with high quality linen. The bathroom is a little disappointing but the complementary amenities were very welcome. The hotel is a bit of 3D maze so it's easy to take wrong turns.

Very nice hotel, good food, very well located
