Hotel de la Poste et du Lion d'Or sur Vezelay

The Hôtel de la Poste is perfectly located for visiting Vezelay, thanks to Yannick's informed advice for visiting the city. Private parking, clean room but a little small. The evening meal was very careful but unfortunately served at a leisurely pace, in 1 hour all inclusive, too bad... I think we will come back.

We were six couples and absolutely loved our four night stay at the Hotel de la Poste. Laurence greeted us when we arrived and warmly welcomed. Sitting outside in the late afternoons was so pleasant and the bar staff so accommodating--especially Louis. We would love to revisit and stay again.

Superbe spot. Nous avons bien mangé. Service très agréable. Vézelay en Bourgogne à visiter.

A grand old hotel, unfortunately "updated" to a more modern look. I've stayed many times since 1960. Marvelous views of the countryside. Located at the beginning of the ancient village of Vézelay, where the cathedral at the top is absolutely magnificent.
