Hotel de l'Oise sur Saint-Leu-D'Esserent

We stumbled upon this hotel-restaurant and have no regrets. Our room overlooked the Oise River, allowing us to watch the barges passing beneath our balcony. It was a lovely room with a small desk and a nice bathroom with a shower. As for the restaurant, we were on half-board; everything was perfect, from the service (with its pleasant interactions) to the meal. We have absolutely no complaints; we simply want to return.

I came last year for a business trip and returned today. A superb, very friendly place, nothing to complain about, and incredible staff.

We came as a family to discover this beautiful restaurant and hotel on the banks of the Oise River. The portions were generous, and our children, who are usually quite picky eaters, ate everything. It was delicious and beautifully presented. Excellent table service. The rooms are lovely. Everything is homemade, even the country bread. They offered us a local digestif.

Restaurant review. A wonderful discovery! High-quality French cuisine, and above all, very generous portions. From the welcome rillettes terrine upon arrival, through the trou normand (a small glass of Calvados served between courses), to the unexpected dessert coupe (a glass of iced sorbet), you'll leave feeling completely satisfied thanks to the very complete menus. The service is pleasant and engaging if you take the time to chat. One small point to mention: the desserts were perhaps a little less impressive than the rest of the meal.

I randomly found this restaurant on Google, and I highly recommend it. Homemade cuisine with quality ingredients (house-smoked, for example). However, be prepared with a good appetite, because the quality is such that you'll want to try everything. Give it a go!
