Hotel des Voyageurs sur Le Rouget

Just came to the restaurant for lunch. The starter, main course, and dessert of the day were very good. I enjoyed the quiet little terrace at the back of the restaurant. The service was very quick. I thank the waitresses for their kindness. Ramps for wheelchairs are available to access the terrace. If I return to the area, I will gladly return to this restaurant.

As a group of Motorcyclists we stayed here for a week in June 2026. It was a perfect venue for us for touring the local area. The staff were amazing and evening meals were all superb. We were allocated two garages to lock the bikes safely away at night. The wi-fi is free and there is a great terrace and a good bar frequented by locals. We had fabulous time and will be back and would certainly recommend this hotel.

Third visit and still just as satisfied... I recommend it 😃

We enjoyed a superb lunch on the back terrace by the pool. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and very friendly, and the price very reasonable. The hotel must certainly be of the same high quality. A place to remember and recommend.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel; all twelve members of our motorcycle group were delighted to stay there. A big thank you to Antonin and his entire team for the quality of their welcome and service. It's heartening to see a team of young people taking on the challenge of reviving this business. We spent two nights in the largest room, which was easily comparable in size and amenities to what we often find in 4-star hotels. A plumbing problem (blockage and gurgling noises) spoiled our first night; reported in the morning, the issue was immediately addressed by the young team (with a drain cleaning truck), who very graciously offered us the rest of the night. A hotel (and café-restaurant) to remember and recommend if you are traveling in southern Cantal and northern Aveyron.

Young, friendly, and welcoming staff. The restaurant has a short menu (mostly homemade) and excellent value for money. They even have a swimming pool!
