Only had drinks after doing the via ferrata close by, but nice location, service and reasonably priced.

Les avis semblent diverger fortement sur cet établissement, cependant nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour entre amis. Bien entendu, si vous vous attendez à une ambiance hautaine comme à Chamonix, passez votre chemin. Les patronnes sont super sympa pour qui comprend l'humour et accepte qu'il y a des règles à respecter. Les chambres sont vintage mais très propres et d'un confort tout à fait suffisant pour le prix. Literie très bonne. Quant au restaurant, nous avons très bien mangé au petit déjeuner comme le soir. Nous sommes allés à Chamonix en train et avons profité d'un billet aller-retour offert par l'hotel. Nous y reviendrons certainement.

We had lunch outside, in the garden under the umbrellas, even though it is on the street, being in the garden is very nice. We ordered spritzes, not very good, I had to ask for ice. Good fish and chips, good cold cuts and cheese dishes, excellent snails. the staff don't speak English, but they are nice enough.

This was my first time staying at this hotel (aside from having lunch at the bar), and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is quiet, clean, and pleasant to be in. It is managed by two very nice sisters who are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and satisfying, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area who is looking for a quiet, pleasant place to relax for a few days or seeking shelter from the rain. The night I spent at the hotel was the best night's sleep I had in three weeks of camping and staying in mountain huts around the Mont Blanc massif.
