Hôtel du Cloître Saint Louis sur Avignon

The cloister in historical terms is fabulous but the rest is not up to the standard of a 4 star. The buffet breakfast is more geared towards foreign tourists (English) whereas we should enhance French cuisine and the restaurant is good for the price but the dishes are simple, on the other hand the setting is majestic. The rooms are Spartan, the lighting in the bathroom and the model of the hairdryer are a bit pitiful as are the air conditioning settings which are manual. The luggage racks with squeaky wheels, you can hear people passing in the corridor, it's poorly soundproofed. In short, I have seen 3-star hotels that are much better equipped. The hotel parking lot was full, the welcome lacked smiles and enthusiasm. I recommend it for the setting and its location in the city center, that's all.

A lot is missing for it to be a 4* Air conditioning running and making unbearable noise. Photos taken = the swimming pool is a small corridor on the terrace where there is no parasol or place to shelter. I will skip the several details that a 4* should have and which are missing from the cloister of St Louis Really a shame for this establishment which is a pretty cloister very well located in the town of Avignon.

Magnificent setting and location 10 minutes from the Papal Palace. Very good reception at reception and perfect breakfast. A downside on the room whose air conditioning is very noisy and the pool terrace which requires a little more maintenance

Uncomfortable shower socket, flexible to be positioned at the end of the bath (chb 207) Courtyard on the fountain side with enormous potential but impassable, not cleaned, numerous pigeons and inconveniences. Professionalism (listening, responsiveness, courtesy) for all the staff encountered. Very nice hotel

Le restaurant de l'hôtel, dans le superbe cloitre. Au menu, une belle daube avignonnaise, en cocotte, à 21€. Fraisier très gourmand à 9€. Sans prise de tête mais avec le sourire.

Really spacious and beautiful room. Too bad for the view which overlooked three walls and a PVC roof, but we weren't in the room often. We also enjoyed the Rooftop swimming pool and this magnificent hotel in a Cloister

Unique, clean, quiet, relaxing. Staff up to their tasks, very professional, attentive to detail, friendly, good communication skills, sense of humor. Very high level of Hygiene.

Beautiful location within walking distance of the station. Beautiful hotel in a monastery. However, our room was difficult to reach, via crawl-through corridors and spiral stairs. Room excellent, warm, despite air conditioning. In my opinion it should be placed the other way around. Now only the wall benefits.

Good location and very good breakfast. Rooms a bit narrow and low.

Choisi par facilité car nous logions à l hôtel et pas déçus Carte réduite mais suffisante pour trouver notre bonheur. Mention spéciale à la serveuse qui gérait seule toute une salle avec le sourire et avec une répartie sympathique ( mention moins à la direction qui pour le restaurant comme le petit déjeuner laisse ses employés bien seuls)
