Hotel la Villa des Bordes sur Clery-Saint-Andre

Hotel at the entrance of a town almost in the middle of nowhere. Poor quality-price ratio, very expensive for what it offers. Our room faced the road, and although few cars passed by, we could hear a lot The dinner restaurant is weak for how expensive it is Poor breakfast with very little variety for €14 per person

The takeaway meals are very good and a fair price to enjoy.

We had dinner and chose veal and beef...given the price, we could have expected a more tender meat, whether it was one or the other...very good desserts...service and impeccable welcome...

Bucolic place in a small town steeped in history. The entrance to the site is not very wide, I looked for another one to understand that it was indeed this one. Inside the parking lot is spacious. The room was clean and spacious, tea or coffee was offered. The table is of high quality, the presentation is gourmet and the dishes are wonderful. A downside for the service which is very long from choosing the menu to serving the dishes. Same at reception, but there is a little bell on the counter for calling.

The hospitality of the owner (in contrast to the service) is hard to find. Hotel not open before 4:30 PM! If you arrive earlier, there is nothing to do in Clery St.Andre and you have to return to Meung sur Loire where we luckily found a bar/restaurant owned by two friendly young women that was open. While we were having breakfast, the staff opened our room to remove the flower boxes from the window of our room, although they left their keys on the outside of our hotel room. That with all our luggage still in the hotel room!!! Apparently they couldn't wait until we were gone. Incomprehensible! The menus that many guests rated as excellent were not top quality in my case. It looked beautiful, but the meat had sinews in it. Parking is ample. All in all, I will not recommend Hotel des Bordes to my friends for transit.

The super cute room. The restaurant is worth the detour. Everything was perfect. Little extra that touched me was the kindness of the owner towards my wife. I can only recommend this establishment. And it is with great pleasure that we will return there.
