Hotel Le Bouclier d'Or Restaurant sur Strasbourg

I just wrapped up a two-night stay at this hotel on my way back to Paris from Germany, which was, overall, perfectly pleasant and adequate. The room (a suite) was spacious and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better. And, for the most part, the service was good—but there were a few gaps that caused the place to fall short of four-star quality. For example, I was traveling with some large luggage, and at both check-in and check-out the staff only very begrudgingly helped with transporting it. (Mind you, there are no elevators, so this involved climbing flights of stairs.) At any other hotel of this caliber I’ve been greeted with a smile and immediately asked if I needed help with bags. Second, I returned late both nights and found the night managers on duty quite unhelpful. Basic questions couldn’t be answered, falsely told umbrellas were not available, and they both were watching loud television on their personal devices when I got back to the property a bit after midnight. Again, more befitting of a 2-star motel than a 4-star property. One person I must commend, however, is the bartender who was on duty the two evenings I was at the hotel. He was personable, helpful, and convivial… and remembered my name and preferences right away. All others should follow his example.

Historic hotel, with all the modern comforts. Loved the spa. We'll be back!

I was offered the treatment for my birthday. For more than 2.5 hours you travel through the different scents. The massages are delicate and gentle. It does you a world of good. It was Perfect, Excellent I advise

This hotel is in the best part of town and is down a little alley, which makes it ideal to escape to and relax. The spa is worth the additional fee to spend one hour relaxing after all your travels.

Passing through Strasbourg, this place was an idyllic break for us We tested the breakfast, spa and massage package. A quality personalized welcome, attentive, smiling staff. The breakfast was very good with a choice The magnificent spa and what about the massage, everything was perfect All in an exceptional building ideally located

Tout simplement le plus bel hôtel dans lequel j’ai pu séjourner. Même en réfléchissant, il n’y a absolument rien à dire. Situé idéalement, en plein centre. Des chambres magnifiques, niquel et avec des petites attentions. Une équipe pro et accueillante toujours avec le sourire. Rajoutez à ça le charme général de l’hôtel et vous obtenez un séjour parfait. On a presque envie de revenir à Strasbourg pour l’hôtel en lui-même.

Wunderschönes Hotel in der Altstadt von Straßburg. Jedes Zimmer ist liebevoll ins Detail anders eingerichtet. Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas klein. Aber wenn man bei angenehmen Temperaturen draußen sitzt ist es wunderbar.
