Hotel Le Champalud Restaurant sur Champtoceaux

Mixed feelings. I'd say it's expensive for an overnight stay, around €130. Dinner was "decent," but room number 1 had freezing cold tiles on the ground floor in January, which was really unpleasant going to bed and getting up. The breakfast room was also not very warm. The hotel staff weren't particularly friendly, not completely unfriendly either, but there are better options.

A small, very clean hotel with comfortable bedding, a functional room, a good location, and a very pleasant and friendly welcome. The breakfast is quite good. Special mention for the pastries, which are excellent! A very pleasant stop in a truly charming village!
