Hotel Le Grand Monarque Restaurant sur Varennes-En-Argonne

I was walking around on my motorbike, I stopped for a coffee... I met a boss who is in a good mood, who loves life. I stayed there for lunch and was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the dishes. I can only recommend the flank steak which was prepared with great attention! Well done to you both!!! I'll be back with a friend next week!!! Lionel

Very welcoming staff and great meal

During our motorcycle tour in Argonne we stopped for lunch at midday in the restaurant. Friendly young couple, excellent food, if you are in the area, absolutely recommended

For the 2nd time we are staying at this hotel, the welcome is always as pleasant, kind and friendly. The bedding is impeccable, the breakfast plentiful. The evening meal was a real delight for our taste buds, the chef delighted us. The quality/price ratio is there. The couple who own this hotel deserve to be known, they are truly kind, friendly and humane. I highly recommend.

Very warm welcome, we were not a guest of the hotel, but we were received with open arms, an excellent meal, very good beers at the bar, and the couple of managers were really very nice, I recommend

We had lunch here on a Saturday in May. The food was very tasty and the service friendly. Recommended!
