Hotel Le Konine sur Montceau-Les-Mines

This hotel is ideally located in Monceaux-les-Mines: a 10-minute walk from the town center, and the same to the train station. The staff is incredibly kind (a big thank you to the young woman at reception for her advice on finding the "L'Embarcadère" performance venue). The rooms are spotless and well-insulated, both thermally and acoustically. The hotel has an elevator to reach the upper floors and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Pets are welcome (10 euro supplement). The double bed is king-size, and the bedding is of very high quality. The hotel has a bar with a cozy lounge area to enjoy a drink in peace. There is also a restaurant open from Monday evening to Thursday evening (we didn't try it as we were there for the weekend). We opted for the breakfast package. The buffet was absolutely enormous! 😃😋 A wide selection of hot and cold drinks, fresh bread, pastries, pancakes, muffins, cheeses, cold cuts, and more. A real treat! The hotel also has private parking. In short, a hotel I highly recommend for a pleasant stay in the lovely town of Monceaux-les-Mines, and a very big thank you again for the staff's kindness.

We stayed at this establishment and were pleasantly surprised. The welcome was warm, the room small but had everything we needed. We dined at the restaurant, enjoying a fresh salad with St. Marcellin cheese pastry and delicious endives with ham. The young waiters were attentive, and the chef was professional. A hotel and restaurant just the way we like them. We'll be back.

Nice hotel. Clean and functional. The staff is pleasant. Generous breakfasts and the restaurant is good but not very varied (if you stay for a whole week). I'm giving it five stars because there's no air conditioning. A large supermarket (Leclerc) is a 5-minute walk away.
