Hotel Le Konine sur Montceau-Les-Mines

Our superior room was very nice specially with aircon BUT very strange that a double room with two occupants only had one small towel and one large towel! Dinner was ok, nothing special and overpriced and understaffed! Breakfast was ok but no croissants as we got there “late” Free car park

Very nice hotel and restaurant. Quiet hotel, pleasant setting, comfortable room, bathroom could use some updating. Located along a canal. Bike paths nearby. Mountain-style restaurant, very airy. Simple but good meals, light and somewhat pricey breakfasts. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Well-stocked bar. Private and secure parking. Easy access.

I just spent 7 days at this establishment and frankly, I have nothing to complain about. I'd already been twice.

A very nice, rather "classy" hotel, well-decorated and with a lovely restaurant offering good, generous portions. A spacious and well-decorated room, but unfortunately the TV was a bit small considering the size of the room. Large, comfortable bed! Bathroom was fine. Two small but important details: The touch lamp wasn't charging (luckily I had the right cable to charge it myself) And no power outlet near the desk… annoying for working!

Pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t sold on the location at first. However it’s very pleasant hotel. Rooms very clean, spacious. Service was excellent. Restaurant was very nice. Very quite. 10/10

This hotel is ideally located in Monceaux-les-Mines: a 10-minute walk from the town center, and the same to the train station. The staff is incredibly kind (a big thank you to the young woman at reception for her advice on finding the "L'Embarcadère" performance venue). The rooms are spotless and well-insulated, both thermally and acoustically. The hotel has an elevator to reach the upper floors and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Pets are welcome (10 euro supplement). The double bed is king-size, and the bedding is of very high quality. The hotel has a bar with a cozy lounge area to enjoy a drink in peace. There is also a restaurant open from Monday evening to Thursday evening (we didn't try it as we were there for the weekend). We opted for the breakfast package. The buffet was absolutely enormous! 😃😋 A wide selection of hot and cold drinks, fresh bread, pastries, pancakes, muffins, cheeses, cold cuts, and more. A real treat! The hotel also has private parking. In short, a hotel I highly recommend for a pleasant stay in the lovely town of Monceaux-les-Mines, and a very big thank you again for the staff's kindness.

A very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and comfortable. We immediately felt at ease. Special mention for the restaurant: delicious cuisine, quality ingredients, and attentive service. A wonderful experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

Great place for business trips! The hotel felt very safe, which I really appreciated since I was traveling alone. My room was super clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet — perfect for catching up on work after meetings. The Wi-Fi was strong, the bed was cozy, and the staff were friendly and professional. Everything just ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next business visit!
