Hotel le Lion d'Or sur Bernay

Excellent location in a beautiful city center, private parking, very friendly staff and welcome, nicely decorated rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely shower/toilet area (just needs a hook for a bathrobe or other items). The breakfast was very pleasant; even though it wasn't very busy that day, we were treated like royalty. Congratulations! I highly recommend it.

A very nice hotel in the heart of the city and close to the train station. The staff were incredibly attentive. The rooms are spacious and offer all the amenities I appreciate. We had a lovely weekend in Bernay, enjoying a good night's sleep followed by a classic breakfast with fruit and fresh bread, pastries, cereal, yogurt… and a small, last-minute change that Emilie came up with – for which I thank her.

Ideally located in the heart of the city center, easily accessible and with private parking. A warm and friendly welcome. The room is modern and has a lovely bathroom. The bedding was perfect for us and we slept very well. A delicious breakfast with fresh pastries was provided. I highly recommend this charming hotel.

A charming, older hotel, beautifully renovated in 2023. Located in the town center of Bernay, surrounded by many well-preserved historic timber-framed houses. Don't expect luxury, but a lovely little hotel near the train station and the town center.

A very quiet and beautiful hotel, located in the city center with private parking. There's also a parking lot 100 meters away. Breakfast is okay. Room service could be better!

In the city center, we spent our wedding night there in 1976. It has changed a lot, the rooms are smaller than I remember.

A charming little hotel in the center of Bernay. Luckily, there's a small parking lot where we were able to park, as it was pouring rain and the streets of Bernay, almost all one-way, don't have many parking spaces 🫤. Aside from that, the bedding was impeccable, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. I highly recommend it; excellent value for money.
