La Crepe D'or sur Bernay

Meh! The crepes aren't very good. The ingredients are very low quality, and the galettes and/or crepes are too thick and undercooked. Plus, it's very expensive! However, the service and welcome are impeccable.

We were just passing through and we really enjoyed this place. The galettes were quite generous and tasty; the only downside was the onions, which were good but, for me, a little too sweet. That said, it was very good otherwise 😁👍

I loved the galettes at this restaurant; I went back twice during my stay in Bernay and thoroughly enjoyed both the savory and sweet options. I was also warmly welcomed upon my arrival in town, which immediately made me feel at ease. I sincerely thank the staff for their kindness and would gladly return!

The staff is lovely, very dedicated, and incredibly kind. The welcome and service are real strengths, with a team that goes above and beyond to satisfy customers! However, some aspects could be improved, particularly the wait time and the quality of the food. Regarding the crepes, we felt that some of the ingredients were primarily frozen or pre-prepared, which is a shame because it doesn't necessarily showcase the full potential of the establishment. Perhaps the menu could be reduced to focus on fresher, more homemade, and higher-quality ingredients. :) A shorter menu would also allow for better organization in the kitchen: fewer different preparations to manage, easier preparation of ingredients to order, and a team that could concentrate more on each dish! This would likely help reduce wait times while ensuring more consistent quality on the plates. :) The team has genuine human qualities and a lot of potential!! With a few adjustments in product selection, preparation, and organization, the experience could become even better!

I've been coming back for many years and... it's always perfect, whether it's lunch or dinner. The welcome is always perfect, always cheerful, and always smiling, unlike some other restaurants. In short, like all good things, there's a wait... otherwise, for those in a real hurry, there's McDonald's... Oh, sorry, there's a wait there too. Have a good day! 😃

A very welcoming restaurant with friendly staff. The dishes are incredible, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The crepes are magnificent, generous, and excellent. I highly recommend it; I will gladly return!
