Warm and ideally located hotel, quiet and relaxing.

Lunch meal with excellent local products, copious and very affordable daily menu, service with a smile. A little in its juice for decoration but the plate is so good....

Alligo sausage at the top, decent price, I recommend.... courage boss 😉

The welcome is friendly and the local trout with “Frita” (vegetables) is wonderful.

Coup de cœur pour ce restaurant, sa propriétaire et sa fille. Très très bien reçues. Des bons produits locaux. A notre table, truite fumée, truite grillée, viande de bœuf, fromages et gâteau à la châtaigne. Des plats très généreux et de bonne qualité pour un tarif très correct. Ce restaurant est au centre ville à l'écart de la route principale. Une adresse à retenir

We fell in love with this restaurant, its owner and her daughter. Very very well received. Good local products. At our table, smoked trout, grilled trout, beef, cheeses and chestnut cake. Very generous and good quality dishes for a very reasonable price. This restaurant is in the city center away from the main road. An address to remember

Le portalou est en plein centre ville et on peut se garer facilement dans la rue ou sur les grands parkings de la place. Un bon accueil, un menu très bien composé et des desserts faits maison !!! Un service souriant et une addition très correcte.

The previous opinions are unanimous and I confirm, the hotel is in its original state. It's a shame, with a good renovation, the place would not lack appeal because it is ideally located in the village. The rooms have period decoration, it was a little cold in May, not the warmest either, but the radiator works and an extra blanket is available. On the other hand, nothing to complain about the bedding, the cleanliness and the shower is very hot. Quiet night, zero noise. The breakfast is a bit simplistic contrary to what is advertised in the brochure in the room. I had dinner at the restaurant, very good local cuisine. Not much is missing to make it a nice establishment.
